Collaborative Concepts at Saunders Farm, Garrison, NY, Sept. 1- Oct.28, 2012 2012


Cactus-Cocoon, previously shown at Catskill Art Society in Livingston Manor, NY in March 2012 is now exhibited on the farm along with 60 + sculptures over seven pastures with visiting angus cows and horses.
The address is 853 Albany Post Road, Garrison, NY 10524. There is a mid-run reception on Sat., Oct. 13, 2-6 pm (raindate Oct. 14) including music and performance art.

Vernal Equinox at CAS, Livingston Manor, NY



Exhibition extends from March 3 – April 8, 2012
The Catskill Art Society is proud to present “Vernal Equinox,” a two person exhibition featuring the three-dimensional environmental art of Ursula Clark and Naomi Teppich at the CAS Arts Center, 48 Main Street, Livingston Manor, NY.
Born in Germany, Clark lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, where she creates site-specific installations using natural materials. Teppich was born and raised in New York City, and now lives and works in Galilee, PA. Both artists will present sizable three dimensional cocoon-like structures during “Vernal Equinox,” and additional sculptures including ceramic pieces and three-dimensional works on bases, created by Teppich.

CAS Gallery hours for this exhibition are Thursday - Saturday 11am – 6pm, and Sunday 11am - 3pm. The CAS Arts Center is wheelchair accessible and open to the public.
There is no cost to attend the following events and all are welcome.
CAS will host an artist talk for “Vernal Equinox” with Ursula Clark and Naomi Teppich from 2-3pm on Saturday, March 3.

CAS will host an opening reception for the exhibit, “Vernal Equinox” on Saturday, March 3 from 3pm - 5pm. Light refreshments will be served.
